IOS 10 Kills Barometer in iPad Air 2
Having just upgraded to IOS 10, my Barometer app reports that my iPad Air 2 no longer has a Barometer. Is this the intention of IOS 10 or just another bug ?

Mine's not working either. I'd say it's bug: https://www.apple.com/feedback/ipad.html
Hi, I have just the same problem with my iPad Air 2 64GB, wifi, cellular. After iOS 10.0.1 installation /on 13.09.2016/ the barometer stopped working at all. All barometer apps say "This version of iOS on your device does not report to have a barometer built in" OR something similar as message.
Same here. After updating from 10,0,1 to 10.0.2 the barometer stopped working and a message saying barometer not installed in this version.
FUnny though, it works on my iphone 6 after update.
Please get this fixed!!!
seems like Apple are getting sloppy with their updates and not testing properly.
Is there an answer as to why the barometer feature stopped working with iOS 10.0.2 and iPad Air 2?
Till now only dead silence from Apple
Has Appple answered and/or provided a fix to make the barometer feature work? I do know that it works okay with Bar-o-Meter app, but not "barometer" app.
Yesterday Apple released a new version of iOS - 10.1.
I upgradet my iPad Air 2, cellular, and the problem with the barometer has been fixed. Now the barometer app working properly. I am happy now!
Updated to iOS 10.1 today and now the barometer function works on my iPad Air 2.
Updating my iPad Air 2 to iOS 10.1 restored the barometer function. Thanks.
